The beautiful gardens and the cozy lounge added a comforting touch during our stay. our room’s view of a wall was disappointing.

Staying in a deluxe double room offered plenty of space to spread out with views over the gardens, creating a relaxing vibe. The historic character of the hotel, with its elegant architecture and well-maintained grounds, provided a lovely backdrop to our stay, especially at sunset.
The drinking glasses in the room weren't clean—one had an old spider inside, and the decor could use some serious dusting. The bed had a noticeable dip on the left side, uncomfortable for sleeping, and the spare blanket in the wardrobe was in desperate need of replacement. Breakfast service was lethargic. it took 30 minutes just to get our first course, and by the time the main arrived, the coffee was cold—a real letdown for morning energy. A few more options on the dinner menu would have been nice, as we didn’t want to settle for the same few dishes every night. The road leading up to the place could use some repairs too, a road mirror would help make pulling out safer, given the dips and blind spots.

Our stay was fabulous, especially enjoying a remarkable dinner where every bite was pure magic and a cozy, stylish room that felt like home. The gardens were a peaceful escape, and I loved unwinding on the sun terrace after a long day. Just a heads-up, the dinner prices caught us off guard but didn't take away from the overall experience. 🌼

The hotel features breathtaking gardens and fantastic views of the surrounding landscape, providing a picturesque backdrop for relaxation. The elegant, traditional decor adds a touch of classic charm, while the high-quality customer service creates a cozy, inviting ambiance.
Parking can be quite a hassle upon arrival, with limited spaces available, making it a bit difficult to find a spot for your vehicle. The sound of kitchen exhaust fans can disturb your peace at night, which some might find disruptive. the television setup could use some attention since channels tend to break up, reducing your enjoyment of a quiet evening. Lastly, dining experiences, while decent, could be improved with a broader menu selection.

the location felt a bit remote and maybe a little hard to find. also, the heating in our room could've been better.

Despite beautiful surroundings, our stay was marred by unhelpful staff and mediocre food. The elegant dining room was lovely, but our meals fell short and the service left us feeling unwelcome.

Just a nice choice for a flash stay in Dolgellau with high value for money. The toast and coffee at breakfast were okay, though toppings could've been offered. Consider checking if breakfast hours change, as it might affect plans.

We had a fantastic time exploring the Mawddach Trail. it was perfect for our family adventures! The stunning views from up high at the Panorama walk really made our stay special. Our two sons loved every moment outdoors.
In my wife's opinion, the food could have been much better.
